The Carbon Neutral Islands programme is a Scottish Government 2021-2022 Programme for Government commitment aimed at supporting six islands - Barra, Great Cumbrae, Hoy, Islay, Raasay and Yell - to become carbon neutral by 2040.
In 2024, SFT was asked by the Scottish Government Islands Team to support delivery of the project and the accompanying Carbon Neutral Islands Capital Fund.
